Listings that violate these rules are removed, and repeat violations lead to account suspension. To report an item, use the report button on any listing or email hello@getbarqa.com — reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
If an exchange goes wrong — an item never ships, arrives materially different from its listing, or a safety concern arises — either party can open a dispute from the exchange screen within 7 days.
Our team reviews disputes within 48 hours. Outcomes can include shipping refunds, removal of listings, and account restrictions. Safety reports involving threats or illegal items are escalated immediately and, where appropriate, referred to law enforcement.
For partner organizations: incidents involving your community's members can be flagged to your organization admin on request, and our partnership agreements include an agreed escalation contact on both sides.
Barqa accounts are for users 18 and older. Campus programs involving younger participants run through verified organization accounts with adult supervision, governed by the partnership agreement.
